1. Land Survey & Permits
We verify your land title and guide you through obtaining the necessary building permits from KCCA or local council .
2. Site Clearing & Preparation
Our team clears the bush, removes the topsoil, and levels the ground to get your site ready for foundation excavation .
3. Setting Out
We use profiles and strings to mark the exact position of your house on the ground, following the architect’s approved plan.
Foundation & Structure
4. Foundation Excavation
We dig the trenches to the required depth, reaching the hard, stable soil needed to support your new home .
5. Hardcore & Murram Filling
Our team fills the trenches with hardcore stones and murram, compacting it layer by layer to create a solid base for the concrete.
6. Concrete Foundation (Blinding)
We lay a bed of concrete (usually 4-6 inches) at the bottom of the trenches to provide a level surface for the block work .
7. Foundation Block Work
Our experienced masons lay the stabilised soil blocks or burnt bricks to build the foundation walls up to the damp-proof course level .
8. Backfilling & Hardcore
After the foundation cures, we backfill with excavated soil and murram, compacting it to prepare for the ground floor slab .
9. Ground Floor Slab
We lay a hardcore base, polythene membrane, wire mesh, and cast the concrete floor slab that will be the base of your house.
10. Wall Construction (Rising Wall)
We continue building the walls with blocks and mortar, ensuring all corners are perfectly plumb and level for stability .
11. Lintel Casting
Our carpenters make moulds above doors and windows, where we place reinforcement bars and cast concrete lintels for support.
12. Window & Door Frames
We securely fix durable, pre-made steel or timber frames into the wall openings as the block work progresses.
Roofing & Finishing
13. Roof Timber Structure
Our carpenters fix hardwood purlins or roof trusses, creating the strong framework that will support your roofing sheets .
14. Roofing Installation
We carefully nail or screw high-quality iron sheets (like Gable or Mahati) onto the framework to make your home water-tight .
15. Fascia & Eaves Boarding
We add boards to the eaves and gables, giving your roof a neat, finished look and protecting it from birds and rain.
16. Rough Electrical & Plumbing (1st Fix)
Electricians run wires and conduit in the walls while plumbers install PVC pipes for the water and drainage systems .
17. Ceiling Installation
Our team fixes either plasterboard (hardboard) or a timber ceiling, creating a false ceiling that insulates the house and hides wiring.
18. Wall Plastering (Rendering)
Our masons skillfully apply a smooth coat of cement plaster to all internal and external walls for a clean, durable finish .
Final Fixes & Handover
19. Window & Door Hanging
We hang the finished timber doors and fit glass louvres or panes into the window frames, ensuring they open and close properly.
20. Floor Screeding
A smooth layer of cement and sand is applied over the concrete slab to create a perfect, level base for your final floor finish .
21. Tiling Works
We expertly lay ceramic or vinyl floor tiles in the sitting room, kitchen, and bathrooms for a long-lasting and beautiful finish .
22. Painting
Our painters apply a primer coat followed by two coats of high-quality emulsion for walls and gloss paint for woodwork and metal .
23. Final Electrical & Plumbing (2nd Fix)
We fit all switches, sockets, light fittings, and connect your sinks, showers, and toilet suites (sanitary ware) .
24. External Works
We construct the perimeter wall, gate, pave the compound, and install a rainwater drainage system to manage runoff .
25. Final Cleanup & Handover
We give your new home a deep clean, do a final quality check with you, and hand over the keys to your dream Kasanje home.
